Pull Up a Chair: Welcome to Regina D. Wright's World of Sweet Romance

There's something about a kitchen filled with good food, a front porch at the end of a long day, or a small-town ballpark under the evening lights that makes ordinary life feel a little extraordinary.

Maybe it's the people gathered around us. Maybe it's the stories we carry. Or maybe it's the simple reminder that love doesn't always arrive with grand gestures and sweeping declarations.

Sometimes love looks like someone saving you a seat.

Welcome. I'm Regina D. Wright, and I'm so glad you're here.

This is my little corner of the internet, a place where we can talk about books, unforgettable characters, complicated families, second chances, and the kind of love that makes coming home feel like the best part of the day.

The Stories I Love to Tell

I write sweet, closed-door interracial romance featuring Black heroines who have lived, loved, stumbled, succeeded, and sometimes forgotten what it feels like to let someone take care of them.

The men in my stories aren't always perfect. Sometimes they're stubborn. Sometimes they're carrying grief they don't know how to put down. Sometimes they've spent so long being strong for everyone else that they've forgotten how to ask for help.

But when they love, I want that love to mean something.

I believe romance can be deeply emotional without being explicit. A hand resting on someone's back. A man remembering how she takes her coffee. Two people sitting quietly together when the rest of the world has become too loud.

Those moments matter to me.

So do the families who argue over dinner, the neighbors who know entirely too much about everybody's business, and the communities that somehow become part of every love story.

Because falling in love is beautiful, but finding somewhere you belong? That's beautiful, too.

First Stop: Marigold, Georgia

If you're wondering where to begin, let me introduce you to The Marigold Brothers.

Four brothers. One restaurant. A whole lot of family history. And four women who will change their lives in ways they never expected.

The first book, Save Room, takes us into the life of Novalee Rhone, a chef trying to rebuild after losing her restaurant.

All she wants is a job making Sunday dinner for the Calogeras family.

What she doesn't expect is Theron Calogeras, a widower who hasn't been able to cross a kitchen threshold since losing his wife.

He's spent years standing in doorways, watching life happen on the other side.

And sometimes, the first step toward loving again is simply finding the courage to walk into a room.

Save Room is a story about grief, healing, family, and the unexpected ways people bring warmth back into places that have been cold for too long.

It's available now, and I'd love for you to meet Novalee and Theron.

And their story is only the beginning. Marigold still has three more Calogeras brothers with stories to tell.

There's More Than One Place to Fall in Love

Beyond Marigold, there's the world of The Tolliver Swifts, where baseball is more than a game. It's family history, community pride, and a legacy worth protecting.

Under those ballpark lights, people are holding on to old dreams, learning to trust new ones, and discovering that love doesn't always follow the rules.

Then there's The Men of Cauble Holler, where mountain roads lead to close-knit communities, familiar faces, and people who might not say much about their feelings but have a way of showing up when it matters most.

Each series has its own setting, its own characters, and its own heart.

But they all share something important.

They're stories about people finding their way to one another.

What You'll Find Here on the Blog

I wanted this space to be more than a place where I announce a new book.

Of course, we'll talk about upcoming releases and new stories. But I also want to take you behind the scenes.

We'll spend time getting to know the characters before their books arrive. We'll visit the fictional towns that hold their stories. We'll talk about what makes a particular romance special, and I'll share news about the worlds I'm building.

And occasionally, we might just talk about the little things that make a good story feel like home.

This is a place to settle in, discover something new, and stay as long as you like.

No pressure. No fuss.

Just good stories and good company.

Before You Go, There's Always Room for One More

If you enjoy sweet romance, strong Black heroines, meaningful relationships, second chances, and families that love each other even when they're driving each other crazy, I think we'll get along just fine.

I'd love for you to join my reader newsletter.

That's where I'll share book announcements, upcoming releases, cover reveals, and occasional little notes from my writing world.
