There's Always Room for One More at the Table

There's something about a kitchen that makes people honest.

Maybe it's the smell of something baking, or the familiar sound of dishes being put away. Maybe it's because sitting across from someone with a warm meal between you makes even the hardest conversations a little easier.

Whatever the reason, I've always loved stories where people find their way to one another through ordinary moments.

That's a big part of why I created the Marigold Brothers.

With Save Room, I wanted to introduce readers to a world where romance has room to grow at its own pace. Where affection shows up in the little things, laughter belongs right alongside tenderness, and a good meal can sometimes be the beginning of a very good love story.

There's plenty of excitement to be found in grand gestures. But I've always thought there's something especially romantic about someone remembering the small details.

How you take your coffee.

The dessert you always claim you don't want before asking for a bite.

The way someone makes space for you at the table without being asked.

Those moments tell us a great deal about love.

They also make wonderful beginnings.

Save Room is the first invitation into the Marigold Brothers' world, and there are more stories ahead. I have such affection for the people and places taking shape in this series, and I'm excited to share more of them with you.

If you've already picked up Save Room, thank you for spending time with these characters.

And if you're just discovering Regina D. Wright, here's what you can expect from my romances: grown-up characters, meaningful connections, warmth, humor, and love stories that leave the intimate moments behind closed doors.

I believe romance can be tender without being dull. I believe ordinary days deserve beautiful stories. And I believe it's never too late to find someone who makes coming home feel like the best part of the day.

So pull up a chair. Get comfortable.

There's always room for one more.

Warmly,

Regina D. Wright
